CJMR’s 2021 Radiothon for Seva Food Bank

On Friday November 19th join us for our annual all-day Radiothon for Mississauga’s Seva Food Bank!

The annual effort has been lead by the South Asian producers of CJMR 1320, coinciding each year with the anniversary of Guru Nanak’s birth.

The challenges that 2020 presented also created hurdles in safely broadcasting the Radiothon last year. But with program hosts and producers on-air from remote locations, our 10th edition raised $150,000! Our community’s level of giving, in a year that had been troubling for so many, was truly rewarding for all our efforts. In addition, 2020’s ‘13 Days of Giving’ Virtual Food Drive brought in over 37,000 of fresh nutritious food for the families served by Seva Food Bank.
